About the Journal
LOFOTECH: Journal of Local Food Technology is an international journal published by the Department of Food Technology, Institute Technology Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed. The accepted research articles will be available online (free download) following the journal peer-reviewing process. The language used in this journal is English.
LOFOTECH is published 2 issues per year (May and November). The journal contains original research articles and scientific reviews that include research in the scope of advanced research in the field of food science and technology (food chemistry and analysis, food processing and engineering, food microbiology, food safety, food nutrition, functional food and nutraceuticals, food novelty and innovations) with a particular emphasis on Indonesian food as well as other regions that have similar or relevant to local/traditional food.
