Literasi Digital untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Siswa SMA N 1 Solok Selatan terhadap Penggunaan Media Sosial secara Bijak

Abstract

The development of science and technology has had a significant impact on the lives of Indonesians, especially the younger generation. One such impact is the extraordinary use of social media among students. A lack of understanding of digital ethics and responsibility often leads to uncontrolled social media use. This community service activity aims to raise awareness among students of SMA N 1 Solok Selatan in using social media wisely through digital literacy outreach activities. The results of the activity indicate that most, if not all, students already have social media accounts. Therefore, it is important to increase student knowledge about the importance of digital ethics, personal data security, and the negative impacts of social media misuse. Overall, this activity has had a positive impact on changing student behavior in using social media more responsibly.
