Edukasi Kesehatan tentang Pentingnya Imunisasi untuk Mencegah Penyakit Menular
Abstract
Immunization is the provision of immunity against a disease and will only provide immunity or resistance to that disease. Immunization is very effective in preventing infectious diseases, through immunization our bodies will not be easily attacked by infectious diseases (Faisal, 2021). The subjects in the community service activity were mothers who had children and were treated at the Muhammadiyah Cepu Hospital, Blora Regency, Central Java Province. The community service activity entitled "Health Education: "The Importance of Immunization to Prevent Infectious Diseases" was carried out on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 10:00 until finished. The delivery of material used a counseling method and continued with a question and answer session. The enthusiasm of participants was high with many questions and 90% of participants understood the importance of complete immunization and intended to complete their children's immunizations. This shows that health education plays a major role in changing people's attitudes and behaviors towards immunization.
